Sandvik's Collaboration with EWB-SWE: A Sustainable Partnership

In the first part of the interview we explore how Sandvik's collaboration with EWB-SWE aligns with their mission and values, emphasizing SDGs. Sandvik talks about actively sharing knowledge, offering mentorship programs, and encouraging employees to volunteer with EWB-SWE.

We delve into the shortage of engineers as we are facing climate transition, and highlight the value of corporate-non-profit partnerships. We talk about the benefits of engagement for engineering students, professionals, and corporations in tackling global challenges, and how corporate involvement in NGOs, is important.

Why engage as a volunteer?

Next interview is with Noelia Canelas, a Chemical Engineer at Vattenfall in Gothenburg. Noelia is just starting to work as a volunteer for EWB-SWE. Here she talks about why she thinks volunteer work is important, and how other interested colleagues can join.

What makes up a good collaborative relationship?

In this first interview session we met with two senior representatives from Vattenfall. We had the pleasure to talk to Sven Jönsson, Senior Project Manager at Vattenfall and Contact Person for EWB-SWE at Vattenfall, and Annica Ramsköld, Vice President of Corporate Sustainability at Vattenfall.
